Mike Connelly - Music Demos

Here are a few samples of music I've composed and/or arranged. If you have any questions or want to hear more, feel free to drop me a line.

"Game Show" track.
Climbing for Dollars, :48, 1 meg

Country track. Yee har.
Waltz of the Mullets, 1:08, 1.6 meg

Novelty track - wacky scurrying stuff.
Cooking With Vermin, :30, 641k

A track written for a TerraGlyph N64 game based on the animated feature Carnivale. Spooky orchestral film-score type stuff.
Haunted Carnival, :45, 760k

A new arrangement of an old Sinatra tune - check out the horn feature up front. This track was featured on the Hipsters of Swing compilation.
Bim Bam Baby, 1:21, 1.5 megs

A track written for a playstation game-in-progress based on a kids cartoon show. Bouncy underscore. (technical note - the PSX version is stored as a midi file and uses less than 150k of sample data)
Squeezebox Groove , 1:25, 1.5 megs

A charleston/hip hop arrangement of the Star Wars classic.
Cantina Band , 1:28, 1.7 megs

A swing arrangement of the Ray Charles hit. (And in case you're wondering, yes those are bits of Mancini mixed in)
Hit The Road, Jack , 3:38, 2.8 megs

Finally, a track that Chris Corsale and I wrote for a friend's wedding (this was actually played while the bride and bridesmaids walked down the aisle). They wanted something in the style of Devo, but I think we ended up throwing in some They Might Be Giants and Esquivel influence as well. Not a super hi-fi recording, but I threw it in for variety sake.
Derek and Susan's Corporate Anthem, 1:37, 2.1 megs
